When it comes to the topic of saving, I always hear something about showers saving more water than baths. Fortunately, the theme for our science fair this year is saving, so I decided to test this statement to see whether or not its is true. First of all, I came up with the hypothesis that showers do save more water than baths however, I also thought about another condition, what if the water runs for 30 minutes during your shower? Then, does that still save more water than baths?
After my experiment, I conclude that showers do save more water than baths. By testing my hypothesis, I measured the amount of waters that would be used during a bath and a shower and showers do use less water. However, I noticed that if you keep your water running during your shower for more than 20 minutes than it doesn’t save more water than baths anymore.
